Duke Firdy 1918 is made of the magical Carmenere grape variety, which is carefully brewed by the world's top Italian winemakers.

Carmenere, originating in Bordeaux, France, is a royal wine grape variety of the French royal family. In 1867, European vineyards suffered from grape root nodule aphid disease, and all carmenere grapes were destroyed. Since then, France has not found the grape. The French miss this once popular grape variety very much.

In fact, the Carmenere grape is not extinct. As early as the 1950s, that is, before the outbreak of grape root nodule aphid disease in France, the grape had been brought to Chile in South America with some excellent grape varieties and planted in the central Grand Canyon of Chile. The South Pole and desert in the north of Chile make it impossible for diseases and pests to survive because of the intersection of cold and heat, which makes this magical Carmenere grape variety survive.

In 1994, the professor of Montpellier wine research school (Jean Mack) in France confirmed through DNA analysis that the long lost Carmenere grape in France had been found in Chile.

However, in 1998, the Chilean Ministry of agriculture officially issued a statement that Chile grows carmenere grapes that have been missing from France for many years. Carmenere grape is the "landmark grape variety" of Chile

Carmenere grape: the requirements of planting environment are very high and the output is very small. The wine has novel taste, round taste, full body, soft tannins, long aftertaste, soft structure and velvety texture. With rich ripe dark fruit, ripe cherry, fresh black pepper, roasted pepper, tobacco, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, coffee, chocolate, plum and other complex aromas, as well as some light vegetable flavor.

Anthocyanin content is high, pH value is high, acidity is low, and alcohol content is 14 ℃. Color: deep purple red. It tastes best after collecting for 4 ~ 5 years.
