"Wine tasting steps"
1. Observe its color - pour the wine into a goblet, hold the foot of the goblet and see its color.
2. Shake the aroma of the wine cup and let it release its fragrance.
3. Taste - take a sip and let the wine dissolve on the tip of your tongue to feel its taste, acidity and sweetness. Let's talk about the five basic steps of wine tasting: color, shaking, smelling, tasting and aftertaste.
(1) Color. To see the color of the wine, it's best to have a white background and put the glass in front of it. Of course, the color range depends on whether you are tasting white wine (hereinafter referred to as Baijiu) or red wine. The following are the colors of two kinds of liquor: Baijiu has light yellow green, straw yellow, golden yellow, gold, dark gold, Madeira and brown; Red wine has purple, ruby, medicine brick red, red brown and brown. Color will tell you a lot about wine. For example, Baijiu will deepen its color as it ages. On the contrary, red wine will lose its color.
(2) Shake. Why shake the wine? To get oxygen into the wine. I'm not sure if you're right, but I can tell you directly: shaking will release esters, ethers and acetaldehyde, and make the wine smell with oxygen.
(3) Smell the wine. Now that you've shaken it to release the aroma, what does the wine smell like? It has the form of nose, "nose" is the word that wine tasters usually use to describe the comprehensive smell of wine. Precisely pointing out the meaning of wine nose is to enable you to recognize some characteristics of wine.
(4) Taste. For most people, tasting refers to taking a sip of wine and swallowing it quickly. But it's not wine tasting. Wine tasting is a matter of using taste buds. Remember that it is all around your mouth; Both sides of the tongue, back of the tongue, tip of the tongue, and extend to the bottom of the throat. If you drink wine like most people, you ignore all the important taste buds.
